About Johnathon

Hey, I’m John.

I work in technology, mostly around systems, infrastructure, and keeping complicated things running when they shouldn’t. I’ve spent years inside organizations thinking about scale, security, process, and what happens when tools quietly shape behavior.

I’m also a writer. I’m interested in speculative fiction, worldbuilding, and the slow, human consequences of technology and power. A lot of my creative work lives at the intersection of systems and people; what breaks, what adapts, and what we carry forward.

This site is a personal space. A place to write without feeds, metrics, or urgency. Some posts will be technical. Some will be creative. Some will just be me thinking out loud and seeing where it goes.

Outside of work and writing, I like cooking, lifting heavy things, tinkering with side projects, and spending time offline with my family.

If you’re here out of curiosity, welcome.
If you’re here to linger, even better.
