About Johnathon

Hey, I’m Johnathon Broekhuizen: technologist by trade, systems thinker by inclination, and occasionally a guy yelling (constructively) at his Wi-Fi router.
I’ve worked in tech for over a decade, primarily focused on infrastructure, IT operations, and helping people navigate the complexity of digital systems. I’ve spent a lot of time solving problems no one sees, fixing things that quietly broke, and making messy processes make sense.
This site is where I write about the parts of technology that fascinate me:
networks, privacy, decentralization, signal vs. noise, and what it means to build resilient systems in a world that increasingly favors convenience over clarity.
I also live with ADHD, which makes me especially good at noticing patterns others miss—and occasionally terrible at leaving tabs closed. That duality shows up in everything I make.
In the future, you’ll find speaking credits, projects, and things I’m proud of here. For now, consider this a sketch of the person behind the posts.
