About Johnathon

Hey, I’m Johnathon.

I work in systems. Technical, operational, narrative. My background is in infrastructure and IT strategy, with a focus on turning inefficient structures into something stable and usable. Most of my professional work operates quietly: platform migrations, process redesign, measurable improvements in security and function.

Outside that domain, I write speculative fiction and develop projects that examine technology, attention, and identity at close range. A pattern in my work, technical or creative, is identifying points of friction and finding ways through them. ADHD plays into this. I move in defined bursts, investigate deeply, then shift. This site is built to hold that motion rather than constrain it.

What you’ll find here: active projects, architectural ideas, working notes on writing, breakdowns of technical approaches, early sketches. Some pieces will be complete. Others will exist mid-process. I’m using this space as a worktable, not an archive.

Topics will range. Infrastructure, digital autonomy, clarity in systems. Also narrative mechanics, long-form worldbuilding, ways to structure attention, and how technology shapes quiet behavior.

I’m not aiming for polish. I’m establishing intent. The goal is to make deliberate choices, reduce reactive work, and push toward long-term direction.

This space will evolve as the work does.
